Stalls are starting to be booked please get in touch if you would like a stall or stalls there are still plots up for grabs.

We are starting to put the program together so if you are a business that would like to advertise please get in touch.

Raffle our raffle is calling out for donations big and small all greatly received.

Please do remember that proceeds raised at the carnival go to local charities. Keep an eye out for our posts telling you about the chosen charities this year.

All details of how to get involved are on the website.

Our parade has some great surprises this year …

We can’t tell you what they are otherwise they wouldn’t be surprises!

Only two people on the committee know the details of all the floats, making sure that there’s intense rivalry between groups to produce the most innovative and spectacular displays.  The parade organisers collected the themes a year ago to ensure that there was no overlap, and now it’s only a day until you can see what everyone’s come up with!

We can tell you there’ll be music, there’ll be dancing, there’ll be walkers and drivers … but beyond that, you’ll have to come and see for yourself.  Work out where you’re going to stand on the parade route now!

Traffic marshals needed for the parade!

Part of our carnival tradition is the parade of floats, which wind their way around the village and end up at the carnival ground. Parades such as this are becoming increasingly rare but we think it completes our celebratory day!

We can’t run a parade though without closing the roads and that means we need your help – we need marshals to guide the floats, keep traffic off the roads, and direct people to the car parks.

Can you help? Please contact chair@knockholtcarnival.org.uk and we’ll be eternally grateful!

We are already looking forward to our Carnival on 9 July, and a large part of that is the parade through the village.  Having now chosen our theme – Cartoons and Comics – we’re taking bookings for floats, cars, marching bands, and even horses!  If you want to know more, then please contact us on floats@knockholtcarnival.org.uk.
