Carnival 2026

On 27 June 2026 we will be once again inviting the world to Knockholt, to celebrate our village parade along our roads and meet on the recreation field for an amazing fête with arena events.

The last Carnival was in 2024 and the weather wasn’t kind, but we had a great time – the floats were amazing and the stalls, although a challenge with the wind, were many and varied. This year we’ve put our order for good weather in early!

The theme for Carnival 2026 is a Celebration of Britain – we are going to celebrate all that we love about Britain.

It will all start off with a parade thought the village of floats and walking floats at 12 noon, leading to a fête on the recreation ground – and a celebratory atmosphere around the village!

Now’s the time to get involved and plan your day, including how to get to the village well before the roads are closed for the parade.

It is going to be a special day, and we want everyone to be there. We are taking bookings for our parade, filling the field with stalls, and looking for volunteers to help out. Get in contact today.

What’s on

  • The parade route will be available here so you will be able to pick your spot.
  • A list of our areana events will be available to view very soon – so you can plan your day.
  • Keep an eye out for houses decorated throughout the village.

Things to note

Entry to the carnival is £2 per adult; children under the age of 12 go free. All entry fees go to charity.

Car parking is available in the field next to the recreation ground and disabled parking is available behind the village centre – but note that both these car parks are inaccessible while the roads are closed. There is alternative car park at Bowens Yard at the top of Rushmore Hill which will be accessible during the parade.

Only alcohol purchased on the carnival ground is permitted to be consumed on the carnival ground.

Please contact Ray at chair@knockholtcarnival.org.uk if you want more information.

Get involved

Our carnival is only possible due to everyone getting involved – organising floats, running stalls, directing cars, decorating houses and (of course!) collecting money.  We hope that you will be able to participate as well:
