Village Picnic this Sunday

Don’t forget it’s the village picnic this Sunday, from 1pm on Knockholt Recreation Ground. This is a free event, open to all residents, family and friends. Bring your own picnic and then enjoy a variety of organised games for children and families which will start from 2pm. There are some water games so bring a towel too!

This wonderful community event, organised by Carole Moody, parish councillor and member of Knockholt Carnival Charities Committee, was a huge success last year and we are sure it will be lots of fun again this time round.  Do come along and join in the fun with your friends and neighbours!

The sun has got his hat on … Knockstock is tomorrow!

IMG_7842[1]It looks like it’s going to rain on Sunday … but Saturday looks bright and sunny,  so make sure you’re out and about to make the most of it.   Is there anything happening in the village, we wonder.

Yes! Knockstock is back, and we’ve got music and fun for all the family.  Make sure you know how to get tickets, where to park, what time the acts are on, and what to bring … we recommend suncream, a picnic blanket and money for ice creams.  Lots of ice creams!

Of course, we can’t guarantee the weather – but we can guarantee an amazing day out.  We’ll see you there!

It’s been months of preparation and hard work, but finally Knockstock is nearly here!  We can’t wait to greet you all at the gates and welcome you to the best family music festival there is!

The weather forecast is looking hot and sunny, so don’t forget your sunscreen!
